Medication lists

When helping an aging parent it's particularly important to maintain a medication list.

You can create medication lists for loved ones in your Health category. Just select Medication List when adding a new item in your Health category, and the workflow will guide you through the process.

You can add as many medications as you like. Include important information for each medication, including the dosage, frequency, start date, purpose, prescribing doctor, and any special instructions (e.g. "take with food").

You can also upload files for each medication, which could be a picture of the prescription or a picture of the pill.

When a medication on the list is no longer taken, update the medication with an "end date", which will keep the medication on the list, but it will be listed as "Inactive". This way you will have a record of previous medications taken.

Medical History

When helping an aging parent it's helpful to have an up-to-date medical history. In particular, this helps for making appointments with new healthcare providers.

You can create a medical history for loved ones in your Health category. Just select Medical History when adding a new item in your Health category, and the workflow will guide you through the process.

Add the following in the workflow:

Follow the recommendations or create your own important contacts. This may include healthcare professionals and service providers.

Connecting the health history to related items makes relevant information easier to find when needed. For example, link a Medical History to the relevant health insurance policy, medication list, or other health items that you create (e.g. an item for medical test results).

Once complete, all of the essential information will be in one place and easily accessible.
